With the increasing cases of corona, the demand for vaccination is also increasing, but free vaccine is not available at a single center in 11 districts of Delhi. Vaccine facility is being provided till April 13 in only three districts by paying a fee at four sites. Some of these can also apply for the vaccine by visiting the center on the spot.
According to the Covin app, only 21.58 percent people have got the third dose of corona in Delhi, while about 78 percent people are still waiting for the vaccine. After the increase in corona cases for a few days, the search for the vaccine is being done on the Covin app, but there is not a single slot available for the free vaccine.

Effective on vaccine mortality and morbidity
Research from Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital, published in the Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, shows that Covid vaccination is effective in reducing morbidity and mortality. The hospital conducted a study between January and February 2022. During this time a large number of people were infected due to Omicron of SARS Cove-2 virus. The study found that the need for mechanical ventilation, length of hospital stay, and mortality were lower in patients who were fully or partially vaccinated. At the same time, non-vaccinated patients became serious.
176 got the vaccine
According to the Covin app, 1205 people registered for the vaccine in Delhi till 5 pm on Sunday. Out of these only 176 people got the vaccine. In this, 64 people who took the first dose, 54 people who got both vaccines, 66 people aged 12 to 14 years, 14 people aged 15 to 17 years, 54 people aged 18 to 59 years and 6 people above 60 years of age got vaccinated. . A total of 3,74,06,162 vaccines have been installed in Delhi. Out of these, 1,82,96,664 people have got the first dose of corona, 1,57,16,753 people have got both the doses of corona and 33,92,745 people have got the third dose of corona.
Mockdrill tomorrow to test preparedness
Mockdrill will be held in the capital’s hospitals on Tuesday to test the measures to prevent Corona. However, the central government has fixed mock drills on Monday and Tuesday. Dr. Rajat Jhamb, Additional Medical Superintendent and Spokesperson at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in East Delhi and Dr. Suresh Kumar, Medical Superintendent of Loknayak Hospital, told that there will be a mockdrill on Tuesday.
